Since the end of our last Peppermint flavour, there has been a minty space in our hearts awaiting this incredible ingredient to make its return in a new way. Peppermint has been treasured for centuries as a digestive, nervous system regulating herb. Alongside its crisp, refreshing flavour and scent, it is a deeply healing and nourishing herb that we feel is the true essence of plant magic.

Introducing to our universe, Peppermint Cookie Crunch. A refreshing peppermint centre meets dark cacao and a gluten-free, crunchy chocolate cookie. Elevated with Organic Mulberry Leaf - it incorporates two beautiful botanicals, chosen with digestive and post-meal support in mind, without compromising on pleasure and indulgence.

Peppermint is rich in a naturally occurring plant compound called Menthol. It's responsible for that unmistakeable cooling sensation, but also interacts with smooth muscle throughout the digestive tract. Peppermint Oil has been widely studied for digestive comfort, particularly in relation to feelings of bloating, abdominal discomfort and digestive tension.

Mulberry Leaf has a long history of traditional use. It is earthy, herbaceous and contains a naturally occurring compound called DNJ (1-deoxynojirimycin).

DNJ interacts with enzymes in the digestive system responsible for breaking carbohydrates down into simple sugars. Research on specific mulberry leaf preparations suggests this may slow carbohydrate digestion and absorption, helping moderate the rise in blood glucose following a carbohydrate-containing meal.

It is one of the reasons Mulberry Leaf & Peppermint work so magically together in this flavour - they work alongside each other to create a chocolate that may be healing and supportive part of the ritual of eating. Your perfect post dinner indulgence, that supports your tummy while also tasting like heaven on earth.

Because Loco Love is all about pleasure that leaves you feeling good. Utilising intelligent plant magic with every ingredient, for a daily ritual that leaves every part of your being satisfied and fulfilled.
